You will need some cool creatures with ETBs, triggered and static abilities to fill slots otherwise used for the artifacts, enchantments, instants, sorceries and colors that will tempt you. You may find yourself distracted by famous commander staples like Sol Ring
Whenever another permanent you control is put into a graveyard from the battlefield, if it had one or more counters on it, you may put that number of +1/+1 counters on target creature.
