I started with a lining from what I think was a cotton/poly broadcloth scrap, sewing boning in the casing down to each seam (roughly, I kinda improvised the boning placement) and then pinning it to the skirt to test the fit
The polka dot design adds a timeless touch, while the back tie detail ensures a customizable fit
The fitted top is a corset with exposed boning and tulle detail
These socks don't just look good, they are comfortable, too
